Lana Del Rey, a deep-voiced, Nancy Sinatra-esque singer who lives in NYC & London, wants her music to  be “the sonic equivalent of a Vincent Gallo film.” Her sultry, sensual sound echoes in your head and her pouty lips are distracting on your eyes. The Daily Transmission calls her sound “Cinematic dark pop wrapped in smoky, sultry and glamorous overtones,” all of which are apparent in her song “Video Games.”
