For Spring/Summer 2012, Bally explores the idea of “modern romance”—tailored frames fused with lace-embroidered petals and sinuous appliqué suede.

Inspired by Karlheinz Weinberger’s photographs of 1960s tough, working-class teenagers plus images of a debutante in lace, creative directors Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler create a contemporary aesthetic based around the notion of unexpected juxtaposition.
